September 1^st is an annual ceremony which signifies the beginning of an academic year.

Teacher’s Day is celebrated in the end of the first week of October. The students show their creative performances and extend congratulations to their teachers at the Big Concert Hall of the University.

Go, guys! is a contest among the male students of the University who compete in different thematic categories: “Mister MITSO”, “Mister COMEDY”, “Mister ENERGY”, “Mister Elegancy”, etc.

Go, freshmen! is a competition among 1^st year students of the University (including Vitebsk and Gomel branches) who show their amateur performances in the following categories: “Best greeting”, “Best video about MITSO”, “Best dancing performance”, “Best song & music performance”, “Best script”, “Best original performance”, “Best final”.

Law Faculty Day is an annual event which is held in December and which gathers former and current students and teachers of the faculty to celebrate the faculty’s anniversary.

Theatre Studio Presents is an annual theatre performance presented by the members of the University’s theatre club “Theatre OFF” in April

Trade Unions for Children is an annual charity action for children

University Day is celebrated annually in March. A big concert opens up a week of student conferences, round-table discussions and other scientific events.

Miss MITSO is a beauty contest among the female students of the University who compete in the following categories: “Miss MITSO”, “First Vice-Miss MITSO”, “Second Vice-Miss MITSO”, etc. The winner of the contest represents the University at the city and national beauty contests.

Meetings is a music and literature event organized twice a year by the Faculty of International Economic Relations & Management

Law Faculty Medium Awards is annual awarding ceremony for the winners of the competition among the Law Faculty’s students and teachers. They compete in different categories: “Faculty’s Legend”, “Break-through of the year”, “Faculty’s Glamour”, etc.

MITSO KVN is a competition among the University’s student teams presenting their comic performances.

Labour Day gathers students of the University who take part in the city festival parade on May 1^st.

Victory Day is celebrated at the University before May 9^th with the participation of the war veterans and invited guests.

Graduation Ceremony is held in February for the graduates of correspondence courses and in June for the graduates of full-time courses.
