Vitebsk branch of the University was established in 1994. The Vitebsk branch offers majors in law and management. The administration and faculty of the Vitebsk branch strive hard to keep the educational process up-to-date and to make the institute meet the highest standards of modern education.

The primary goal of the Vitebsk branch staff is to provide high-quality education to the students and to facilitate the process of self-fulfilment of young people. A number of teachers have undertaken internships abroad. Since its establishment, the Vitebsk branch has acquired a wide experience in educational and scientific spheres.

Supported by the University’s founder, the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus, the Vitebsk branch has built up a modern material and technical base. All the necessary conditions for education and research activity of both students and teachers exist. They include: light and spacious classrooms equipped with modern facilities, rich library holdings, computer classes with internet access, and video and audio equipment.

The Vitebsk branch has introduced a rating system of education which is being efficiently used by the institute’s staff and students. A big emphasis is placed on the independent work of the students, which is monitored by the teachers, as well as on the programs of distance learning.

The Vitebsk branch maintains close relations with Viadrina European University in Frankfurt (Oder).

Gomel Branch

The history of Gomel branch started in 1991 when the International Managers Training Centre (“MIM Belarus) was founded. An economics lyceum for 10th and 11th year high school students was established at the centre. The 1993 lyceum graduates became the first students of Gomel branch.

The branch in Gomel was established to train highly-qualified specialists with deep general and specialized knowledge who could be employed in the industrial and social spheres. The educational mission of the Gomel branch is to develop to a full extent students’ abilities, their intellectual and creative potential, and to promote their active, free and constructive participation in society’s progress, which would satisfy the state’s demand for highly-qualified specialists.

The Gomel branch has created all the conditions necessary to provide continuous and multi-level higher education in accordance with the principles of state policy in the sphere of education and with the international standard classification of education adopted by UNESCO.

The educational process at the Gomel branch integrates the achievements of modern science and technology and connects it with the research and practical activity of the institute’s faculty and students.
