The main goal of the Science & Research Development Section is to secure the position of the International University “MITSO” as a large scientific centre of international significance. The Section carries out the following tasks:
- Identification of the most important and relevant research areas and topics
- Ensuring participation of the University in national government and public research projects
- Support of the scientific and research projects within the University
- Coordination of research activity of Master and PhD students
Research and scientific activity of the University’s academic staff and students contributes to the introduction of various innovations and development of the University’s intellectual potential, which in its turn helps to improve the quality of educational services and to reinforce the University’s position in the educational market.
The main goals of the research and scientific activity of the University are:
- exploration of the social and educational process;
- analysis of the dynamics of transformations in the social, labour, economic and legal spheres;
- establishment of extensive academic and research base in the field of social and labour relations and social partnership.
The main research areas of the University are:
- establishment of social and legal state;
- formation of socially oriented model of market economy;
- social protection and social insurance;
- improvement of the main legal instruments regulating the social and labour relations;
- increasing the role of trade unions in the system of social partnership.
A particular emphasis is placed on the development and promotion of research and scientific activity among the students. Various scientific events are held at the University, such as: intra-institutional and international student conferences, student readings, round-table discussions, seminars etc. Active participation of the University’s students in academic events contributes to the preparation of creative and highly-qualified specialists with practical skills who are capable of applying the acquired knowledge in real life. The students’ research and scientific activity is coordinated by the University’s scientific clubs and laboratories, such as international student club “PRIMUM”.
