Dear Colleagues

We would like to invite you to take part in the International Conference “Information Technologies and Modern Armed Conflicts”, that will be held at the International Institute of Labour and Social Relations on May 17, 2010.

Venue of the Conference is sports centre Ratomka near Minsk.

Aim of the  International Conference “Information Technologies and Modern Armed Conflicts” to involve young scholars to discuss priority questions of International Law connected with the Information Technologies development.

Following issues will be discussed on the Conference:В ходе обсуждения докладов планируется акцентировать внимание на следующих вопросах:

1. Information Technologies’ influence on international legal regulation of warfare. Влияние информационных технологий на международно-правовую регламентацию ведения вооруженных конфликтов.

2. Information Technologies using as mean and methods of warfare. Использование информационных технологий как средства или метода ведения вооруженных конфликтов.

3. Consequences of using computer network attack Последствия применения сетевого компьютерного нападения с точки зрения международного права.

The Conference official languages are Russian and English.

Участие в конференции бесплатное.

Проезд до Минска и проживание оплачивается участниками конференции самостоятельно. Проезд к месту проведения конференции обеспечивает  институт.
